Does it do that when you are moving or sitting still? If parked, it could be the rear driveshaft slip yoke binding a bit while the vehicle is changing height.

Mine does the same thing sometimes, but only at a standstill without my foot on the gas. If I lower it with high rpm's the problem goes away. I think higher RPM's might keep the system powered better... alternator?
Mine does it a bit as well sitting still. It could just be the hydraulic shocks sticking and slipping some when lowering. Mine makes all sorts of noises, I just chalk it up to driving a 16 year old vehicle.
