All right... somebody here has been conspiring behind my back with my WIFE... I know who you are!

pretty sneaky! Thanks BTW.. I have to figure out how to operate my new GPS.
Thinking about going up in the snow this afternoon/evening.. Looks like there is plenty up there!

Hehehehe Well, I've been conspiring behind my wife's back for the last 2 weeks... I found myself an E-locker in North Carolina... (price was right!) So by early Jan, it should be safely in my happy hands!

Now I need a 4.56 geared front IFS diff to match it....

More of the story please!

Nooo, you need to do a SAS!

Those waypoints must look pretty familiar! ;) Merry Christmas!

So Jen (my wife) and I spent a lot of time hiking this deer season and I am sure I mentioned having a GPS and how convenient it would be when navigating unmarked roads. She does her research and TOY350 was consulted and hooked her up with a good deal on one. I hear I am loaded up with maps.. I figured out how to turn the thing on and thats about it so far..
"Waypoint": I'm sure I will know what that means before too long.

I thought you already had the axle?

Wouldn't a new front diff be almost as expensive (if less time consuming) than a SAS?

Granted, rear locker and gears will make a huge difference. You can go 90% of the places with just a rear locker as you can with front and rear.

Yes, I have the axle, but I'll now need a 4.56 front diff, cross over steering, springs, shocks, front drive shaft... To do the swap.

I can change out the front IFS diff by myself in about 3 hours.... and it should be around $100 or so... So for now the choice is obvious.... Unless you're making loans to club members? :D
