Hi everyone,
I usually lurk over in the 40 series forum, but I recently added a 2020 Tundra in Cavalry Blue with about 50k on the odometer to the mix! I’ve been coveting one of these for a while and am excited to finally have one in the stable.
That said, I’ve noticed when driving it, it seems like the radio/infotainment volume controls intermittently stop working. I haven’t been able to figure out an exact cause yet (maybe connecting an iPhone)? But randomly, I’ll go to turn the music up, or down, and find that spinning the volume knob does nothing, nor do the volume controls on the steering wheel. I have to do a hard-reboot of the infotainment system by holding the volume knob down for a few seconds - then the controls come back.
Is this a known issue? Is there a setting I’m not understand correctly or am I doing something wrong? Just curious if any have encountered this and if there’s a resolution…
This is by far the “highest tech” vehicle I’ve owned so I’m perfectly willing to accept that I’m screwing something up if that’s the case, but this feels like a bug…
