Hey guys,

Some of you may remember me from the 80 section. I still have my '94, and have since added a '93 as well as an '88 62. A few weeks ago we picked up an '03 100 w/ 140k for the :princess:

She loves it, and so do I, but the OCD that was implanted in me by 'mud has me wanting to address a few issues.

The one that has me stumped is that the armrest portion of the driver's door panel is damaged beyond repair(discolored and stretched vinyl/leather). I have been unable to find a salvage panel from any of the usual suspects(cruiserparts.net or cruiseryard.com) and despite the $900 price tag from the dealer, they list it as unavailable. I also searched on car-part.com for the panel and came up empty.

Does anyone know of any 100-specific sources that I'm unaware of? or any other ideas on how to go about finding a replacement?

Thanks for the help, and I will be sure to keep you guys posted as we make the 100 ours. I have a few ideas that I'm sure you guys will enjoy.

maybe ask your local dealer's service department whom they use for upholstery repair??

I'd keep checking car-part.com and also check your local leather/car upholstery shop. They might be able to dismantle and fix the armrest.

oemautorecyclers.com they have a white 2001 LC that I just took the front seats from today. I am almost certain that they had the drivers side panel there. They have been very professional and very accurate about their inventory (even if its not up to date on line) they are located in the middle of nowhere ohio, but they do ship. The interior is tan. The sunroof is gone and it is exposed to the weather, but the seat had a deposit slip in it from April 2014, so it has not been there that long. I don't know if they will send pics. I paid $100 each for the seats and $75 for the spare tire with a brad new Grand Trek on it. Gas tank skid plate cost me $60. Good luck.

have you considered taking it to a local auto upholstery shop? I just had a couple panels replaced on my '88 911's seat and it cost me $200 (vs 2000 for new leathers). I suspect they can do the same for your TLC. I have an '04 TLC and I am going to have the driver side outboard seat bolster replaced. the guy i use is great at matching. just a thought.
