Like Shunt, I've been looking for gainful employment for a while. Got an interview in Chicago next week and, so far, all is going like clockwork.

Would work in a small town in Alabama and have responsibility in other locations. Seems to be a perfect opportunity. The job needs exactly what i have to offer. Got to keep head straight and get prepared for a real grinding interview process next week.

Low and behold! Someone offered me an excellent position with a steel company located in Thomasville, AL. Will have responsibility for Thomasville and another plant in Welland, Ontario. Got to get better gas milage out of old LC Henry. Will move to the general area which can range from Demopolis to Monroeville to Jackson and anywhere inbetween. Need to keep the daily drive under one hour. Preferably less. Only driven through that part of Alabama 3-4 times and know little except there isn't a whole lot there. I have to keep in mind that flights will leave out of Bham.

Next question, where in the heck do you look for a home?? Strong consideration being given to Demopolis. Anyone have some good thoughts?

On the river and get a good scope for you deer rifle. That area is not very populous and while it may be hard to believe if you've only driven through there are som nice parts to Demopolis.

Sounds fun! But why would flights leave out of bham? All that sounds West or south of MGM... So I'd start looking at flights outta montgomery, which is an AWESOME airport to deal with. Check out the Camden area, only hiccup you might find is it is a tight small community.

A local told me today that boys don't get footballs for Christmas because they all want chain saws.

Boys name is Bailey and we talk about Land Cruisers and Shunt all the time. Never met you but know more than you think. Not all bad either. Bailey thinks a lot of you for some reason.
