We've seen those stories. My wife visited the region on a business trip and couldn't find anyone who even knew of the breed. We are planning on breeding her this fall so I may need to start a plan to ship them to China. I'll sell them for 50% off, only charging $250k for each pup.

I do take offense to their label of "slobbery". They should be a "dry mouth" dog, not like Newfoundlands or other "wet mouth" dogs that do slobber non-stop. They are loyal and on alert, letting us know anytime someone comes to the house/property. She settles down once she knows who the visitor is but will surely let a stranger know she is on to their presence.

Still on the fence for this weekend. Its my oldest's "last" volleyball tournament and its in Statesville. I may try to meet up with everyone in the morning then head to Statesville to see the afternoon action of the VB tourny. I'll send you a PM once I know for sure...
