Jémez Falls Picnic

Loaded up the family for a quick trip to Jemez today. We'd never been believe it or not, as former Santa Feans I believe that's sacrilege.

Not being familiar with the area, loaded up with the kiddos I played it safe. Went to the Jemez Falls Picnic Ground.

Kids enjoyed the hike and wading around in the pools above the falls. I cooked chicken fajitas with all the fixin's as I brought along my plow disc cooker. Made for a great day. Can't wait to get to know the area better. Wife and kids loved the scenery on the way up.

Yes, the campground right before the picnic ground had a sign at the turnoff that said it was full. We did see many campers/trailers at the campgrounds on the way up as well.
