Hilux speedometer chime 105 km/h
Ok, here's one for the JDM Toyota whizzes out there. Does anyone know how to disable the 105 kmh speedo chime on a 1990 Hilux LN106 pickup? It sounds like it is located up very high in the dash right behind the speedo. Does the cluster have to come out to find it or is there a shortcut?

I took the dash apart and found the chime located at the back of the speedometer. Disconnected one of the wires and the chime is gone. 140 km/h here we come!

Good work Toyota dashboards are typically pretty easy to disassemble and reassemble, thank god for simple and effective engineering!
