I talked to Woody tonight. He will be helping me sign up as a vendor shortly. For now, I'm trying to gain interest in a few vehicles that Im thinking about picking up. This BJ41 came up on the auction block tonight. If I win it, Im asking $12,995, landed with all fees included. My partner in Japan is emailing me the condition of the vehicle, I will repost it shortly. I know they never sold black, so it is a repaint. There were some nice 60's up over a few nights ago as well.

1979 or 80? cool factory a/c

Correction they did sell black in Japan I had a factory BJ41 black paint code 202 IIR it was same code used for 1980s Toyota truck sold in North America.
Yes I believe that is a repaint since the roof is black and it does not have the red valuer seats which came with the black BJ41.

Welcome to the forum!

Can't wait to see what other rigs you can get your hands on :)

44's and 46's would be great to import to the States - we WANT THEM!

Also some neat 70 series 5 door wagons :)

It's there such thing as an original 44 and 46? I thought I ON was the only one to make a FJ44 ICON

Slander!!! ;)

Yes, Toyota made a 44 and 46 with a few different B series diesels.

ICON makes an FJ44 - 4 door variant of the FJ, but they're not Land Cruisers...just keep the style of the Cruiser. They're a work of art, with newer technology used from the ground up. But the essence is still there. TLC makes an incredible product, most of us can only dream of that level of perfection in our builds. Somewhere I heard that ICON even douses the morning dew from angel's nipples onto the rig prior to delivery.

Wait the TLC ICON isn't the body of a FJ43 modified with 2 extra doors?

What do the 44 and 46 look and drive like different than the 40?

The ICON FJ's are all built with aluminun bodies from Aqualu Industries located up in British Columbia. They're very well built.

The Toyota FJ43 BJ44 and BJ46 are all an extended version of the 40. They had a gasoline FJ43...but not a FJ44 or 46. Those were all diesels...indicated with the "B" in the model BJ.

Toyota never offered a 4-Door 40 from the factory in the 40 series we know and love. The 4-door came with the FJ45LV series wagon. Less than 5k built as far as I know...some 1500 or so stateside.

Search around on Mud....there are amazing amounts of info on here!

So....OP - did you win the auction for thr 41??

Where are you located?

What's the transport time to get into the States??
