Trying to decide between transfer cases. My 40 has a 350/th350/np205 with 4"11's and 38's right now. JB conversions claims that their custom 205 case with 3:1 gearing, 32 spline front and rear outputs and 1410 yokes is tougher than the Atlas 5.0. Any thoughts and experiences would be greatly appreciated. The 205 also has two sets of holes to allow me to clock it like an Atlas. Thanks

205 is HUGE.. You might have trouble fitting it in a LC frame easily..

How much is JB's 205??

The Atlas is a superbeefy unit.

The JB unit is around 2,150. Jeremiah recommended the Atlas 5.0 and I know there products are tough. I am away from the garage but I think that there is enough room to clock a 205. I would grab an Atlas in a heart beat if I could find one with the bells and whistles for the right price. I got a price yesterday for 2,800 for a loaded Atlas. I think that Stak's units are around the same price as well.

Go stak 3 speed then..

Which ratio Stak?
1:1-3.05:1-5.44:1
or
1:1-2.35:1-4.33:1

Auto?

the latter...

It is already in the frame Jackass :)
Bite me bitch, I never said I could read...

I would still do the Stak for the gearing options :flipoff2:
