If we do it sometime when it is warm then we could do a bonfire / camping with some tents for like a Friday / Saturday / Sunday.

August is our Philanthropy Event and a side trip to Callalantee. That trip will probably be a small contingent. so let's do it that month...

I had a great time picking brains and gawking at some top-notch rigs. You may have noticed that I spent some time taking pictures... so I've finally uploaded a zip file of them for you all to use as you please. Those can be grabbed here:

Meet and Greet, Core Banks, and Tide Ride coming up....
Thanks for the kind words. I pretty much keep a camera with me wherever I go. Honestly, I'd be happy to snap pictures at any event, ride or outing.
Speaking of upcoming events, could someone add me to the Spring Tide Ride planning section (if it's not too late)? I'm seriously hoping I can coordinate my schedule for this trip. Plus, I'll bring some surfboards if anyone wants to have a go at it.

Yeah, but who likes cold water.... I'd rather go back to Costa Rica to Hermosa, Samara, or Mal Pais
Outer Banks gets all right, I've seen double overhead when tropical storms have been off shore. Problem is they close out... It's the shortest distance from land to the continental shelf, so waves keep the size and strength.

Hmmm, Mavericks, Steamer Lane, 26th St, 41st St, Pleasure Point, 4 mile...I grew up surfing Santa Cruz. Yes, there are waves in Northern CA...
