The high steer on the runner uses 80 series tie rod ends. Problem is the factory steering on the 80 doesnt use a jam nut, so they dont come with them. R&E fasteners doesnt have anything that will fit either, so I'm curious if anyone knows of a place in town that might have a fine thread metric nut that large? Should be 23mm x 1.5...

Marlin or trailgear will have them and could get them to you in a day or so.

Jack

Also check Spidartrax and Bluetorch fab, they sell a wide variety of jam nuts in left an right versions both metric and SAE

I think their prices are a lot more reasonable than other options. They also sell weld on bungs etc for fabbing your own steering components.

Might look at summit racing as well.

Its really irritating that this has been the biggest PITA finding these nuts. I have looked and called EVERYWHERE and nobody has anything that will fit these stupid damn TRE's.

TG has the nuts, but they said they cant sell me them seperately.

Damn... Most of the time spent on my build was trying to find odd little parts to make "this or that" work. I know your frustration.
