I'm out for the 2nd or the 3rd and the 8th or 9th(scout camping trip):meh:. But the next wknd would be good. Oh wait, thats our rubicon run-Dang not enough wknds in my life. Wish I could retire!

I am going on the FOF trail fix/observation run this sat.(26th). Maybe that would work for ya.:hhmm: Any other takers?
 
I'm going to be painting wheels and replacing my pan gasket and .....
basically getting ready for Rubicon etc. this weekend.
 
I hear you Jack. I've been trying to get atop Signal Peak for a couple weeks now. Be trying again probably Wednesday.

From Skillman on hwy20 it looks good.....but it's always those drifts in the trees. But after the constant rain on Saturday hopefully it's all washed down.

I'll snap a pic of Fordyce for you if I get lucky:)
 
The road to Fordyce from 80 is open. I was about a mile from the lake today before turning up to Signal Peak. There's a fair amount of traffic already for the weekend.

Spent about almost an hour stacking rocks to get back to the Fordyce Road from the peak due to about 100 feet of loose talus. My work Ford Escape is not a real 4x4 - don't let anyone tell you they are....

I have a pic for you Jack, however my phone isn't sending it. But, it's blue, with trees and granite all around it..:p
