So I've done smarter things in my life...

I couldn't pass up the chance to ride a mechanical bull. The even gave me permission!!!

How long did you last? I was gonna ride it at the redneck bar near where I used to live but I was hammered and figured I'd wait til I was a little more sober, place burnt down about 4 days later. Might have the chance to ride a real one in a couple weekends at the Co. fair though.

The first two rides didn't really count. For liability sake the operator slowly brought you up to speed so I stayed on for a good while. He asked me the last time if I wanted "to go for it"...sure, why not. I lasted about 8 seconds (heh heh heh) the third time but I was really winded. I could have held on longer if I had rested a bit more. It is harder than it looks! If I had been drinking I'm sure I would have been tossed off much sooner but had much more fun!

I should still take some pics of my war wounds. If you ever do this make sure to wear long pants. The insides of my legs are torn to heck and back.

I've done the same thing, in college, shorts and all. It was at the Cadillac Ranch in Clemson. I got talked into going with a bunch of my friends. Luckily I had a few beers before my turn. I don't remember much, just that I got thrown pretty far, and that the bull will tear up your legs if you wear shorts. Gonna have to do that again. Good pics..

You can do it again but it wont be at CR thats the place that burnt down.

I never went there...was a weee bit scared - not of the people there but of what type of trouble my friends would get me into there.

Nope, they are making mulch there now, or at least they were for the 5 months after it burnt.
