......to throw money at the 80.:frown: It's been running a bit sluggish lately and just generally needs some TLC.

I cracked my exhaust, it's not terrible but this likely accounts for some sluggishness and slightly lower mpg. I may go see Henry, but I really really like that EMS Powered cat-back over the frame system - looks awesome.

New u-joints arrive this week.

Need an alignment asap.

Oil leaks, nothing terrible but they bother me. I may try switching to a dino oil to see if they subside a bit.

I'd love to do the remaining control arm/panhard bushings as well.

I'd kiss Santa's feet if he brought me a new windshield! Mine is not cracked, but the zillion little rock nicks make it seem like driving through a prism on sunny days. O and I have a nice leak in these heavy rains.

If this damn pinging would go away from 1200-1600rpm, that'd be awesome.

Must. Get. Sliders.

It's funny, this thing is just shy of being 15 years off the assembly line, has 230k miles, I drive it every day (I love driving it every day!). None of this stuff is serious! and considering the mileage and use, this is not at all bad. I was surfing CL today looking for a beater car and thought, I need to put money into the 80 anyway, a beater is just more coin on top of that and doesn't make much sense. So the 80 can get some lovin' and keep on chugging.........

I hear ya. It is cheaper in the long run just to do maintenance on these rather than buying something else and then having to get insurance and not too sure if the one you are getting is worth a darn and might be another money pit also.

I just rebuilt the front end / Highsteer on my 60. It drives so much nicer now. Its got alot of small things that need to be done but i love it and drive it daily. And have no truck payments.

I hear ya Joe,

I know my cruiser needs some maintenance done to it. Unfortuantely as I rattle my can I see that I can put about 1 gallon of gas in the cruiser and that is all I can do for it right now. Hopefully it can hold out another year, or two.
