Anybody ever had problems with intermittent fuel flow? After getting stranded in the Cascades I opened up the fuel line at the filter and jumped the fuel pump connections. It wasn't immediate, but the line began to flow. Re-attached fuel line, rig fired right up. Drove to the station today, was inside for mas o menos 30 minutes and rig wouldn't start. Pulled the fuel line again and no pressure. Repeated above steps and fired up no prob. Once I got home rig was idling higher and rougher than normal. Drives fine with no noticable hiccups. Any ideas as to what it could be?

How many miles on your rig?

I've had the experience of a fuel pump on its last leg giving a few last gasps, and give intermitment delivery, drive a ways, little sucker heats up and wont work, and drives you to look at everything but the pump, until it dies completely.

I almost consider the fuel pump a regular maintenece item on a rig with over 200k on it. I've always been amazed that little electric motor can go as long as it can..
