i got my 60 running now that the crankshaft pulley was replaced. now a few issues to address....
i had to change the battery and it starts up like a champ, but it seems to really pull a lot of juice when it starts and the low battery light comes on until i put it in gear and start moving. alternator issue maybe? ???
2nd, the PO must of yanked off the license plate, so the bolt heads are ripped off leaving me with some difficulty getting the bolts out now. i sprayed them to try to loosen them up (used WD40, did not want to use turpentine and risk messing up the paint) and tried to back them out from the inside of the tailgate and from the outside of the tailgate as well. from the inside it is impossible. i can see the bolts but i can't get a straight shot to them with any kind of tool. i guess i will have to try to drill them out, but i don't know if i have a bit big enough or strong enough to do it. any ideas, or am i headed to a machine shop for this? ???
right now i have to drive it with the license plate taped up in the back window! :-[
