Iso Troopy

I'm looking for a toyota troopy/hj 47 in any condition. I should specify though I am looking for "classic" body style only. I have no desire to buy a bloated mid 80s runner with a high cap back and pref a LHD. I looked through the for sales here a bit and didn't see one but if I missed it feel free to point me to it.

You did just miss it...by about three days. Guy in the Yankee Toys section just imported one from Australia and sold it as soon as it hit his driveway. Take a look in the TLCA forun under Yankee Toys "Troopy for sale".

Anyone know anything about Global Classic Imports :: For Sale


They show a few hj47s but no info about the vehicles. Has anyone ever dealt with them before? I think they are out of Mass. I am always wary of sites that post nothing but one picture and won't elaborate on the cars in any way.



On a side note, are the Brazilian versions specifically the fj45 long wheel base crew cab available for import into the US?

I haven't dealt with Global Classic Imports in the manner of buying from them, but they are located about 100 miles away from me and I checked them out one weekend. The guy that runs it has all the FJ's at his mom and dads house in downtown Thomasville. It's a pretty cool little setup and they let me check out all the cruisers when I went and drive the ones I wanted to. The guy that operates it is down to earth and pretty easy to deal with.
