Is USA SPEC PA20-TOY compatible w/ 2000 LC

The directions aren't exactly clear as to whether a stock 2000 head unit is compatible with the PA20-TOY.

The back of the manual say 98-09, but in the book it only references 02-09 (maybe a typo?).

Anyone hook one of these up on a stock 2000 and have a successful ipod interface?

I think if you have nav the pa20 is the way to go, otherwise the pa15 is sufficient.
