I am not a welder. I am a wanna be. Be fore I pay someone 10-15k to do the bodywork and paint needed on my 40 I will learn to do it myself. Will this welder do the trick. Besides body panel work I will also use it to weld on sliders, and build a new Smoker

I’d step up to the 180, you’ll want the extra juice for sliders, frame work, etc.
You can usually get more value for your money from an older used machine.

Yep. I own one of those actually.
But for that money I would buy an older used machine.

There’s a Hobart 210 with a bottle on your Craigslist. That is a much better deal if it’s legitimate

well, I would take "reconditioned" with a big grain of salt, if you think it's a big plus. If it's anything like CPO for a used vehicle, it could mean a bit of dusting... So no big guarantee of non-turdishness IMO.
You can always ask for a demo when you pick up a used one. If it welds, it's probably OK.
The 120 vs 240 is kind of a big decision. 120 is fine for bodywork for sure and some heavier stuff with some thinking. The 240V could be a better investment for the future but do you have 240V available and will you really do 1/4" and above routinely?
