Hi guys -

Got an email from 4WheelDriveHardware.com today. Normally I just delete them, but the tire deal caught my eye: "Buy 3 get a fourth free" starting at 5 pm today and going until 8/15.

Jeep Tires & Jeep Tire Accessories - by 4 Wheel Drive

I've been pricing BFG AT 315s. They list them at $260/each, which is $30 bucks more than tirerack.com, but shipping is $50 (for 4 under 35"), and with offer it comes out to @$850.

Same tires on tirerack, shipped, would be @$1028.

Sorry... my headline sounds like I'm trying to talk like a pirate.

Yarrrrr! That be a deal for sure ye old scalliwag!

Nope. The fine print of the sale said 'phone order only', and when I called (Sunday night), they were closed. Got a guy on the phone today that said the deal was for Pro Comps only, and that 5 305/70/r16s BFG ATs would be $1374 delivered, which was $35 more than tirerack.com, and a chunk more than I have right now.

Shiver me timbers!

Really? Can you send me the guy's name and extension? Supposedly they all work on commission, so maybe your guy is willing to deal.

If I can get 5 305 BFGs for @$1100 delivered, I'd jump at it at this point. Everywhere I'm looking now is in the 1350-1400 range... even Sams.

Dont know his name but when I asked about BFG 315/75/17 he wanted $349.00 each. What does Lakespeed do? I clicked on your page but there was no link with a description.

Do you want 17s? I was getting 16s for my LX.

I don't know... I'd post a question. You'll get tons of answers from people who have already given that a whirl and would advise you one way or another.

Tire Rack is about an hour and a half from Chicago. I was gonna go pick some up until I went to discount and they will meet or beat any price. If they say they will charge for shipping tell them you will go to tire rack and pick em up.
