wow....kind of an odd law. one i'd have no problem obeying, but odd.

and yes...exiting in front of the tire means whiffing fumes.

Not odd if you think about it, any vehicle with the capacity for carrying passengers back there, PU with campers, vans, motor homes, any passenger car, etc. about the only thing legal to dump in front of the rear axle is a standard PU or flatbed truck...carbon monoxide ...

precisely why i won't run one in front of the tires. the first cruiser i had was already set up that way...i was glad as heck i ran topless, otherwise i'd probably already be dead. was fun with the local cops though.

As well endowed as you are, I can understand them taking issue with you running topless :D :D

eeeeewwwwww...i've seen myself naked and that's a disgusting thought :flipoff2:

i was running up 31 through north aurora (the up and coming windy city guys will know where i'm talking about )when a local cop pulled me over for excessive noise and accused me of not havinbg mufflers (i had duals, but they were so close to the floorboard on the outboard edge of the frame you couldn't see em unless you were underneath) and got rather bitchy when i corrected her and told her i had two mufflers...as she was writing me a ticket, about 20 harleys went past.

she never did give me that ticket.

still miss that cruiser...if anyone recognizes it, please let me know how it is. i sold it to archie johnston who flipped it shortly thereafter.
