Is there a reputable driveline shop fairly close?

I am looking for a driveline shop (or other shop) somewhere in Fresno/Visalia? where I can take my driveline for examination and u-joint replacement.

Looks like I am going to need to have at least one u-joint pressed out. The u-joint was originally installed backwards, which prevented the zerk fitting from being installed. So one of the PO's just left the joint with the empty hole in it.

The u-joints seem ok, not sloppy at all so I was hoping to be able to get the joint out myself, and just flip and re-install it. I however cant get the joint out. During the attempt at removing the u-joint I noticed the drive line has hit max angle at one point, as there is some obvious deformation on the very outside of the driveline "ears". I'm wondering if the deformation is serious enough to prevent the u-joint from being removed, or if there are other problems with the driveline.

Thanks,

Drake

Me too. He is cheaper than most but slow. Have to stay on him to get it done. Dean Becks is the name.

Had mine done in 2 days ?

Who knows. Both times I used him, I told him to call me when it's done. I was in the middle of stuff with builds or life and after two weeks, remembered about them. Called back and gave him a deadline. He met it then. Probably just depends on what larger projects he has going on. Both drivelines were well balanced. I'd use him again. If I was in a hurry, I'd set a pickup date and he'd probably meet it I'd that was agreed upon before had.
