hows the power of the v8 to push the cruiser around

alot better than the 3f and with a new snorkel/airbox it will have about 225hp at the rear wheels.

and a photo of the hardest part of the conversion...locating the crossmember and the raduis arm in the smae spot

i'll try and explain the photos.

i run in front of the diff and it does fit but you have some restrictions to work with if you stay with running the drag link and tie rod in front of the diff. one being the panhard chassis mount is limited to your up travel I am happy with around 4/5" up which meant the bracket is about 90mm. if you didnt have the tie rod there you could have more up travel.

the other end you could go higher than me but im a fussy pucker and wanted it to look as normal as possible.

i also added another crossmember so i could brace the panhard braket and tie the two rails together.

panhard is off the shelf 80's ajdustable.

and the bracing on the diff has nothing to do with the coils just put it on while i was there

thanks for that mate looks very good. One other question, how do you go for clearance to the sping tower/shock at full compression/droop? With my current leaf setup at full compression/drop the tyre is only about 1'' from the top of the shock abosorber and I run an extra 30mm offset over stock.

Thats the only thing that worries me with a coil front, other than that LOVE it!

thats what im playing with at the moment. with standard offset 15x8 rims running 35x11.5 et2's they touch the coild hat.

i have now cut off the lip on the coil hat flush with the coil and will test it all next weekend. but if your running 30mm over standard i couldnt see it being a problem. if it still hits after the W/E im cutting the rims and redoing the offset 10mm further out
