Is Bulldog Canyon/Usery Pass trail head still open? (1 Viewer)

I was going to go out there Saturday but wanted to confirm it was still open before I did.

I don't see any closures in the area on the Forest Service map. Can anyone confirm?

I think @Rudster and @verruckt1 spend some time out there.

Have not check recently whether it is open but there is now a $6 fee for the permit.

Last weekend all the gates around the lake were closed. With that said, not sure if the gate code is active, should call tonto on that

Just called Tonto. OHV's are all open and gate codes valid.

Wife and I are headed there tomorrow. Let me know if anyone wants to meet up and run through it tomorrow. We’re planning on being at the trailhead by 8am. Also bringing a picnic lunch and stopping somewhere along the trail.

Confirmed, it's open. Lots of new signs on the east end too.
