Dirty here,
just reporting that Lance & Cam earned my $, and just placed my order with them for a pair of grey vinyl seats. Will report back when I get the goods, and will write up how easy the installation is.
Free shipping's such a good deal that even Mrs Dirty decided that vinyl was worth it!
:grinpimp:

Damn, I had this pegged for a year or so off, but free shipping is tempting.....

I purchased the same seats from Summit Racing - they are made by Procar - Elite Series 1100. $240 each plus $18.95 for shipping and handling ($8 for shipping, $10.95 for the handling charge). I'm pretty sure they are the same seats that IPOR carries and they bolted right in with no problems. I just took the rails off the stock seats and put them on the new seats. I got teh tan ones and the passenger side is backordered until Dec 5th.....

For those with these, do the seat backs angle forward farther than the stock seats? (i.e. can you get a driving position closer to vertical?)

How do they compare for leg room/backward travel on the rails? Could they be set up offset slightly back from the stock spacing?

Yes they angle forward quite a bit. Also - if you have a big butt...these might be a little tight on the hips.

I think they are a nice fit for the FJ60. You could mod the rails to make the leg room what ever you like I suppose - but for an easy swap they are great.

I still have the stock passenger seat in the truck - when it stops raining I'll try to snap some pics of the differneces. But it's Seattle - so don't hold your breath on the rain.

Hmmm, these are sounding real nice, but I've been in a spendy mode lately so......... have to think more.

I had these seats in my Last FJ62...and Iam plan to order them again! I had the Vinyl and they are very high quality!

Hey very nice. Do they sit higher than the OEM seats? How's clearance underneath? I ask because my amplifier is mounted under my passenger seat...

The stock rails bolt right up to the bottom of these seats - so the clearance underneath should be the same. If anything I think they sit a little lower - I read another thread where the guy had to add spacers to adjust the height - I like the new position myself.

Both the seats left side seats so the recline lever on the left side on both? You have any pictures?

A buddy had a set in his 40. Superfirm, which is OK by me. Had a few tars after a couple of years but given the price a good deal IMO. Velour...good if you have a 1980's Lincoln.

Got 'em (vinyl) and love 'em.

I really HATE posting this but...I cannot for the life of me get a response back from anyone at Iron Pig Off Road.
I am still waiting on my correct replacement headrest "clip" from IPOR, and simply cannot believe it takes this long. I am currently planning to turn my purchase into my credit card company as defective product. The supplier has sent me two incorrect parts, and I am still with a faulty headrest (wont lock into place).
Personally, I feel it a safety issue since I am 6'3" I need the headrest fitted to my height.
Some of this is posted in frustration, but since they wont answer my needs I figured they might hear me here. If anyone knows where I can get the locking clip in grey it would be much appreciated.
Otherwise, nice seats.

They got hit by a tornado:frown:

I'm brushing my teeth, that doesn't go well with typing.

Wow. Dang.
While the tornado is a relatively recent event when compared to my now over 6 months anxiously waiting for a silly little part, I'm terribly sorry to hear about the tragedy. I hope they will be able to bounce back.
