I just got a set of 39.5" bias belted irok's and im am curious on how much life every one else is getting out of them? They feel so sticky and soft I carnt see them waering to well. They will not be driven on the road much only short bursts to the trails then home. They will be getting used on rocky trails are a little bit of mud work. I just up graded from some 36" tsl's witch i thought where wearing good but as i said they feel so soft and sticky comperd to them. So anyone no

Cheers nathan

If you dont use them on the street much they do pretty well. I've run a couple sets now and I've been more than impressed with them on the trail. However, driving back and forth from the trail to my house I can swear I hear dimes and quarters falling off the tread of them.

if your like me, once you experience how much better they hook up offroad than tsl's you won't even care about wear so much. you can reverse them every once in a while to even the wear out on the outer lugs.

Very true... lots of guys run them backwards full time. They claim they work better that way.

All of the people I know that run them backwards do it to reduce chunking of the tread. It does make a differance.

I have had my 42s since early 05 and they still have pleanty of life left. But thats with 99% trail use :D

Sorry might sound a bit silly but I didn't no they where directional? I have had a quick look at them but they didn't seem to me to be directional. Is there and easy way to tell witch way they go?

So it was a silly question... :o As I said I only had a quick look at they the other day. Dose anyone run the brand genuine gears r&p? I no its off the topic but I have these to ready to install. Just wanting to no if there good quality and strong?

thanks

Hi All:

Is this true for the radial IROKs as well?

Thanks!

Alan

they really hold better than a TSL .. ? sure they are not to me ( love drive my Cruiser to the trail and back ) but I saw 'em here and at videos and seems to be very bouncy ..
