I know we are all spread out across the state, but if anyone needs any help, I'm sure we can come together as a group and assist.

Hope everyone is out of harms way!

I'm preparing the best I can. (see my nextest moddy thread).

Hope everyone is doing okay, lotta bad stuff up there on the news. We're thinking about y'all. Take care.

I'm about 4 miles north of where the Cedar joins the Iowa. Less than a mile from the Cedar. Columbus Junction is going to be bad.....route 92 is closed and 61 is closed at Wapello. Both have about 5 feet left before the crest on about Tuesday, and both are almost at all time record highs now.

I'm fine though. The Cedar lies about 70 feet lower than my house. I might have a waterfront property soon (kidding), but I'll still be dry.

Dude, It is about 10 ft. higher in CR than what they thought it would be.

Yes, 10 FOOT. I dumped 4 inches of rain out of my gage just today.

There is some video's on these websites.

www.gazetteonline.com and www.kcrg.com

I am dry, all is good here in Newhall.

I think the worst is over, still a lot of waiting for the rivers to drop again. I've been real busy with work, as we have a data center that we've brought a bunch of businesses into in the last 5 days (I think I got 8 hours of sleep sometime last week). Glad to hear people are in doing well! Go figure, 2-100 year floods in 15 years...
