Introduction

Hi all
My name is Leandro, I'm new to the forum, although I've been following it for a few months.
I live in the Chicago area, west suburbs.
In june i bought a 1999 LX470 with 179K miles, it's at 190K now.
My idea is to build it as an overland truck, budget permitting.
I already installed the rear bumper with tire carrier, change the ugly after market chromed wheels for tundra rims and 33" BFGs AT KO2
I have the winch seated in the garage, collecting dust while i collect money for the front bumper.
Didn't do any off road with it yet, hoping to find other members on my area to join. May be going to The Cliff or Badlands.
I'll post some pics once i figure out how.

i bought it in south florida, the guy's name is Rocky. i think he posted here some time ago offering them.
it's very sturdy (and heavy) but had some fitment issues, nothing that a hand drill and some elbow grease can't fix.
