Introduction

Hi all - have been lurking for a while and enjoy reading all the threads.

Just thought I'd introduce myself and our 1985 60 series (my wife's first car and car's second owner) - only has 260,000kms on the clock.

We've owned it for 16 years and I have spent the last 2 years (yep, real slow!! ) giving it a new paint job (my first attempt at painting a car).

Have some future mods planned for it but things have been put on hold due to the arrival of our daughter 6wks ago..... looking forward to taking her 4WDing when she's a bit older - we live near Sydney.

Thanks for the comments and welcome.

Yes, the rear windows aren't in yet, still painting (yep, said I was slow! LOL). It is plastic sheeting - just to keep the weather out at this stage.

I have also been replacing bailey channels and door seals, some OME, some after market and will be replacing all the seals in the rear sliding windows.

Car has had a new windscreen installed with a new seal and chrome strip from Toyota. The aircon still works and hasn't been touched since we've owned the car!
