I’ve just joined after a forum I was on has ceased to exist; so finding my way through this one is slightly different and I may end up down the wrong path.
I’m in Australia and I have a 2019 Landcruiser LC200 series GXL 4.5litre diesel with twin turbo. For those who do not know, down under there are 4 specs for an LC200 being GX, GXL, VX and Sahara. I tow a 3.5 ton caravan and that was the main reason for getting the cruiser. It is probably the vehicle of choice for towing caravan of this size but it does have competitors.
The cruiser has the Tow Pro electric brake controller for the van; and I’ve added Torque Converter Lock-up kit; TJM Bull Bar; GME two way and other small changes. I removed the third row seats and put in a flat floor to give me the space to install a fridge/freezer.
My wife and I have done a couple of long trips, recent one being 8,000 kilometers .
Anyway, I look forward to learning a lot more from other members and hope to contribute where I can.
