Hello everyone!
I've been lurking here for about 6 months now and finally decided it's time to join. I moved to Seattle from the East Coast about 9 months ago and quickly realized that I needed a capable off road vehicle to be able to explore the beautiful PNW. So I bought a 2009 LC200 with 160K miles on it and I plan on turning it into a proper overland vehicle over time for a future road trip across the US and Canada.
I've named the truck Deev. It came with Ironman Foam Cell Pro 2" Suspension Kit. I swapped the wheels and tires to ICON Rebound 17" and 285/75/17 BFG T/A KO2s. I'm taking a form follows function approach when it comes to the mods that I want to perform, so I keep going to different trips and compile a list of things that I realize I need.
Deev: Deev in British English. (diːv) (in Persian folklore) a wicked and demonic supernatural creature.
Here are some photos of Deev:
^^^ Lots of scratches on the sides from rubbing against tree branches...
You can see a short video clip of me going through a narrow road:
Cheers,
encrypttie
