Man, I couldn't resist the all black look, I thought I would do mine too, in addition I did the mirrors (they were chromed) the grill and the wheels, my body man used the original vehicle's paint code but with a non shinny/reflective clear.
I thought I would post some pics, enjoy.

Actually the grill was blacked out with the exception of the chrome inserts which could be easily un-clipped.
If you are referring to the bull bar, I'm not sure it can be blacked out reliably and if so not sure it would serve the purpose as it would accumulate scratches easily with time..
