Intro to the GX470 World

Hey guys,

I just picked up this gem of an 06. IT came with new 33" K02's, TRD Pro Wheels, an OME 2 inch lift and a roof rack!
The dealer did the Tbelt and Water pump and replaced the dash and did some other small preventative maintaince.
I actually drove it from Florida to PA and had 0 issues.

The only things that seem to be wrong atm is the radio has no sound coming from it. I hear the amp fan spinning but no sound coming out (taking it to get looked at Friday) I read somewhere that if a speaker is shorted it could cause no sound (ML audio)

Also the fresh air receric is not working and the duel zone heat on the driver side is not working. Pass side heat is good and goes from cold to hot but driver stays cool or luke warm. I assume this is an actuator problem.

Otherwise i am very satisfied with the truck and am looking forward to wheeling with my buddies.

Warm driver side is 99% of the time low freon if it is the only symptom. If air is still coming out and you do not hear any grinding sound then you likely do not have an actuator issue. For me it was a leak in the front evaporator, and I had everything under the dash replaced. The not getting hot is interesting. You should be able to do a AC self check process where it can run through everything and give you codes on which actuator is bad if it is the issue.

So the pass side will go hot and cold no problem. Driver side stays cold or luke warm, but is not nearly as hot as pass side. It looks like the actuator near the accelerator on the driver side is not moving when i change temp
