So my door sensor switch has been fritzy lately and sometimes when I opened my drivers side door the interior lights wouldn't come on. I'd just have to flick the switch and they would come on. Got tired of this "Fonzie fix" so I decided to take the switch apart and clean the copper contacts. I also squeezed some new dielectric grease into the whole assembly too. Problem solved. Thought I would share. Super easy job. Be sure you zip tie the connector plug otherwise it will drop back down into the pillar never to be seen again. I zip tied it to a drill bit I had lying nearby.
