This property has a wide veriety of terrain including gravel roads, reletively flat dirt trails with great views of the lakes, mild trails with limited tight challenge areas, intermediate trails which are tight twisty roller coasters with valley crossings that challenge the approach angle and lenght of your tail, and of course some knarly hard core areas.

We covered alot of ground in 2 days and didn't see close to half of the property. I talked to a few of the guys I had met there earlier in the year and they said they were going to try and uncover some of the older existing trails that have become a little over grown. After having been there earlier this year and only hit a couple of trails I felt the place was worth coming back to and was not disappointed. It is now open to the public 7 days a week year round. There are campgrounds around the area as well.

Vicky will have pics up soon.

Thanks Vicki!
I look forward to checking out Interlake some day.

Just got home and unpacked. Made it to Interlake for the first time, and loved it! The trails were great, some were marked pretty good but I mainly stayed on the "easiest" marked trails and almost tore the side of the FJC up  But luckily I had the wife with me and she got out and guided me through and held back a few trees so that I got out without much more than a pinstripe through the mud that I had laid on earlier. Met Jimmy and Bill after running trail #6 at the ramp and hamburger stand. Overall I think this was a great first run after having the FJC for over a year and sticking to corn fields and cow pastures. I will be returning to Interlake and hope to make the Dec. TFT run at Badlands. Hope to see some more FJCs and get to run with a group. It was a little hairy at times by my lonesome :steer:. Will post pictures soon and put up a link.

See you all around,
Fatback (Robert)

Nice pics Vicky! You always do a nice job in taking them! Interlake looks like a great place to wheel, hopefully I'll get a chance to in the future!

Robert there will be a bunch of FJC's at the Badlands TFT run. Hope to see you there!

Jimmy, it was great wheelin' with you while you were there. Hopefully I did alright as trail leader.

Robert, it was nice meeting you and the misses and hope to wheel with you some time next year.

The blue jeep is from Ohio near Larry's err I mean Tom's stompin grounds. He said it took him and his grandson about 6 hours to get there. It would be a hall for you but I think you would enjoy the wheelin' there.

Vicky say thanks and that she was trying to give you all a good idea of what the property has to offer.
