Beach n Toys has a trip planned for June 26-28 camping at Coon Creek Cabin group campsite, all on its own about 6 miles off highway 38. There is room for about 6 more vehicles according to the Forest Service, but the site is very large. We intend to split up and take easy trails as well as John Bull. If anyone wants to come, you are welcome. I can post up more details.

Mike,

That sounds like fun. I may be interested.

Also- Saw you guys driving through Temecula last Sunday- How was the ride?

Tim

OK. We went to Thomas Mtn and found a few areas that were fun. Over all a nice cruizin day.

Is this trip still on? What are the details, campsite arrangements, etc.?

Sorry you can't make it Noah. The 80 not up to an easy cruise?

A group of us are leaving Friday morning. There is plenty of room for more campers. If you have any questions, you can reach me at (760) 458-8828. Here is the latest update from the Beach n Toys website.

Mike

OK,

Here is the plan. Mike and I just talked and we were thinking 10:00AM at the 15 and 76 in the park n' ride lot. This should allow us to clear all the traffic and maybe stop somewhere for a lunch on the road (and give us 40 drivers a break:).

Things to remember:
***Adventure pass (can be purchased at most sporting goods stores).
***Money to pay share of camping fees.
***Food and drink for Friday night, all day Saturday, Sunday morning.
***Note, no fires other than stoves
***The cabin is really just a way to get out of rain or wind (should there be any). We may use it for a cooking and common area but not nessesisarily for sleeping in. So bring your gear.
***Trucks, even trucks with a trailer or camper can make it up to the cabin area but probably not a motorhome.

If you would like to print out an area map, go to site and you should see the link on the front page.

Getting There:
Coon Creek Cabin (CA)
HWY 38 FOREST RD. 1N02
Angelus Oaks CA 92305

From Interstate 10 take the Alabama exit in the City of Redlands, CA, to Lugonio Avenue (Hwy 38). Head northeast on Hwy 38 for approximately 31 miles to Forest Service Road IN02. Go approximately 6 miles on IN02 to campground.

Very cool. Mike, I'll give you a call. A couple of us are coming up (2 vehicles), but later on Friday. Great way to break in summer!

Nice. We will keep a look out for you.
