I'm wanting some feedback from those who would be interested in starting a South Louisiana TLCA Chapter. Please email me your contact info, year and model Land Cruiser along with a email address for those interested. If you wish for your email to remain private so that it is not listed on the website please let me know.

Depending on participation, I think starting out with a once a month meeting at a local restaurant and maybe a local trail ride a month to start out would be great. Getting the local guys together can be a big benefit in the parts area, and offering a helping hand to a fellow cruiser owner wether it be an idea or mechanical help. Please let me know your thoughts. I've still yet to read whats involved in creating a TLCA chapter, I wanted to see if there is enough interest to move forward.

Welcome Larry!

I was in Lafayette from 1980 til 83. It would be great to see a club in Lafayette, the best town in all of Louisiana for Cajun cuisine. Is Red Richard still in business? If so, I'll help you schedule a Fa-do-do during crawfish season.
;-)

Thank you Sir, your welcome to drop in and say hello anytime. I'm not sure about Red Richard, but there is definitely no shortage of Cajun cuisine here. A TLCA Fa-do-do event during crawfish season sounds great. I hope we can pull enough interest to make it happen.

Larry,

We have been working with some Cruiser heads in Southern Lousiana. They have been using our forum to communicate. Would you mind posting your plans here
www.tlcc-houston.org . You should be able to reach a few more people. Anything we can help you do, just let us know.

I think there is something wrong when a Cajun wants to eat at Subway, unless they started selling fried oyster po-boys and  :D

Here's to your first meeting
