Intercooler Addition

Anyone know if the addition of an intercooler will assist in the temperatures the 2LTE runs at ?

It won't affect the actual operating temperature of the engine, but it may help reduce EGTs, I would guess. If you put an induction cowl on the hood, you may also be helping to clear hot air out of the engine bay.

I'm thinking of intercooling my LJ with a small intercooler on top of the valve cover, but that's a project for the future.

Intercooler, less EGT, less diesel to produce the same power .. less diesel less engine temp ..
