Anyone in here been running these tires yet? They look cool, and the price is right, $126 a piece. One of the offroad mags. had a right-up a while back and they only said good things, but does that gnarly tread make for driving a 40 a nightmare?

dont know about on a 40, but Ive got them on my 80 and am liking them so far.
weve got some snow and ice recently and theyre handling that well. good in the mud. they are a bit noisier than an at tire on the road. Only had them on since september so cant really tell how theyre going to wear yet.

I would recommend them as long as you dont mind a little extra highway noise.
in a 40 the engine noise should drown them out

I want to run a set of 33's on stock 40 rims, but dont think they will fit well. :'(

Thorvald, these are the sts's not the mt's that you are running, unless that was a typo on your 80 description at the bottom of your posts.

there was a guy that worked at the tire store running those on his toy pickup and he liked them, had a hard time getting them balanced ended up putting sand in them.

really enjoying the mt's though
