Instructions on fender removal?

I could have sworn I saw instructions in the FSM or one of the supplements on how to remove a fender. Now I can't find them. I'm sure I can figure it out without directions, but if anybody knows where the diagram lives I'd appreciate the info.

Damnit, damnit, damnit! After spending all morning removing every bolt I could find attached to the fender I realized the whole thing is spot welded on at the edges of the engine bay. Not worth taking it off... lesson learned...

Wait. No it isn't. If you are talking about the front fenders, then they are not welded to anything. There are bolts, and many of them, that secure it to the rad support, the inner fender well and the main body. The ones that connect the fender to the main body are probably covered in body sealer however.

How do I know this? I just took my passenger side fender off. Good call.

Ummm, I think you're right. It looked like the fender was welded to the top of the engine bay, but the welds I saw were just connecting one part of the fender to another. I will continue unbolting and see what happens. Thanks, I would have given up without your info.

No problem. That body filler comes off with a quick twist of a screwdriver.

My fender came off in about one hour, but my bud and I had to fight to get it untangled from the other pieces of bent up metal on that side.
