I'm getting ready to install a non-us carb. on my 1986 fj60. I picked it up from a reputable parts supply out of CA. My overall goal is to eliminate the emissions all together. This will be phase one with the next phase being the install of the header.

my question is this. I have no idea how to run the hoses for this new carb. the old stock carb has a huge spider web of vacum lines which will be eliminated along with the EGR and AI systems. However I need some info on how to keep the HAC intact & a basic matic for running the vacum lines to the new carb.

check out the pics here

The new carb should not have provision for HAC. AFAIK, that is only a US thing.

There are hundreds of carbs for Cruisers that fall under the general term "non-US".

A pic would go a long way to answering your questions.
