i just installed my ARB bumper with my brother and was wondering if we need to drill the 4th hole for the mounting bracket and the bull bar add another bolt. if you have the instruction handy, it'll be #34 that i am really not too sure able. please provide some guidance. thx

i dont have the directions right here but habe installed 4 of these bumpers & recomend using all hardware with it

a definite YES

those final drilled bolts are what provides permanent alignment with your body....those are critical installations when you start winching and using the bumper hard.

CRITICAL.... ;)

Gotya! Thanks lot Woody! that was like the first question that i have in mind but forgot to ask at the CMCC event. i'll go ahead and work on that. :bounce:

There are actually 4 total that have to be drilled. You found the 2 upper ones but there are 2 lower ones as well. The openings are on the bumper's mounting plates directly below the top ones. You should be able to find them by looking up from the bottom. If you mounted the skid plate already, you will need to remove it to get too them.

Hope that was clearer than mud

Be carefull with the AC line , apparently the after market bumpers can cuase proplems . I was reading this on another forum this morning.

Because I have the ARB bumper there is a tendancy for the AC line to rub against the lower part of the bumper once it has been installed. Over time this can cause a hole to develop in the AC line if it had not been properly pushed out of the way after the ARB bumper had been installed

Interesting about the AC line. I'm gonna check on this in the morning. Thanks for the info.

Hi Jack, Hi Woody!

Woody - hope your summer is going well!

Jack give me a call if you want me to take some close up pictures for you of the ARB install if you need reference.
