So have had our 2010 base gx for around a yr and looking to start the upgrades into a build I can take off the beaten path. I ordered the ARB Sahara bumper, 2” OME lift and having MEO Offroad in Tulsa make some sliders to put on. I want some durable Offroad wheels but brands and quality seems to be all over the place. Anyone have experience or tested FUEL wheels? They carry a few I like with offset I’m looking for and would like to hear from anyone if they have had issues with brand. Thanks Dylan

I haven't had a set of Fuel wheels in nearly eight years so they could have gotten better but there's a reason why I stopped buying them. Finishes would fade, corrosion set in early and the center caps would always crack or break. I found most of their designs be tacky, I joke that they are the Ed Hardy t-shirts of the wheel world lol, but of course this is subjective. There are certainly crappier wheels out there but they wouldn't be my choice if shopping new.

Welcome to the modded GX side!

No experience with Fuel. I went for SCS wheels after running them on my past rig for 4 years. Overall, I’m happy with them.

I debated long and hard about going with the EVO Corse wheels and kinda still wish I had.

I appreciate the comments the more info I have the better decisions I make!! 😂.

Ditto

Scs and FN wheels are both lightweight. Method has some great beadlock tech on their rims. I personally run the trd off road stock wheels as they are 17s and fairly cheap used.
I will check out method also. I’ve looked at the trd’s but would really like the white gx/gold wheel color scheme...I may just have to get over that!

Depending on what look / size / offset you're after, Black Rhino might be an option. I was pleased with the quality of mine.

I switched to AlphaEquipt wheels recently, and first impressions are good there too.

I’ll prob switch to 17” even tho I have a brand new set of tires for 18” rims. I will check out the two brands you listed. Haven’t heard of either. Thanks

Although I like the looks of my SCS wheels the finish hasn't been as durable as I had hoped. That being stated I dont stick to forest service roads so mine have a bit of rock rash as well.
