I'm looking for an input shaft and retainer for '86-95 R150/R151. I have the 1" longer 1996+ version but I'm now looking to run the shorter older bellhousing.

Anyone have good parts they'll split from a trans?

I could also possibly take my '09 1HZ-R151F bellhousing & cut it up & mill it into a spacer to make my 22RTEC Turbo R151F bell sit 1" further off the trans with some extended dowels...

Thanks!

i've got a 151 from a 92 pzj77 and am looking for the bellhousing and input shaft for a 1hz if you're still looking. I think the pz-r151 bellhousing is like 2" longer than the one for the 1hz.

Hey I've got that bellhousing for you if you want it. The input shaft I have is a little chewed up on the tip, but you can get them brand new still. It's probably the same part # as a North American Toyota Tacoma or 4Runner V6 1996-2004 input shaft.

I was eventually going to list this 1HZ-R151/R150 bellhousing on eBay or on the classifieds here, but I'd GLADLY sell it to you if you want to make me an offer.

Going dirt biking all weekend long out of state, but I could ship it out to you next week. PayPal or Venmo etc

I've already got the shortest input shaft version brand new, 1994 - 1995 V6 Toyota pickup / 4Runner, also fits 2016 2.7L manual transmission, and a bunch of other Land Cruiser and international applications.

You're in Canada? What's the cheapest US carrier to ship to Canada through? FedEx? USPS?

This thing is just taking up valuable space in my limited shop area, and it would save me the hassle of listing it and dealing with eBay etc if you wanted it.

Thanks!

I would also gladly trade it for an FJ80 steering box or later FJ60 steering box, ESPECIALLY a later FJ60 manual steering box. Left hand drive only.

Since I just realised that the 1hz I've spent the last year rebuilding to put in the Pzj77 won't fit (a real palm in face moment, let me tell you!) because of the length of the bellhousing and input shaft, I would trade pretty much anything with you. Unfortunately, I only have a couple JDM 70 series. I can check to see with a friend of mine who has a graveyard of 60's for a manual steering box. Its a holiday weekend so It'll be next week at the soonest though.

as for shipping, I think usps is probably the cheapest, unless you know a trucker.

can you measure that bellhousing for me? form the transmission to the mounting flange. I'm sure that my wife will ask since I didn't think about the bell housing length before this!

Thanks,

Eric

Sure thing, it's just under 8" length, depth, or height... Engine mounting surface to transmission mounting surface. About 7-7/8"?

3rd time is a charm...
Couldn't figure out how to reduce the size of the image beyond cropping it, on my mobile phone, even with Photoshop for mobile, and the forum kept telling me it was too large of a file after cropping...
I had to text message it to my work phone to downgrade the resolution! And then text it back and save it...

It actually came from Canada originally, it was in a mining truck that was parted out, 2009 HZJ79. I'll be running the transmission and transfer case from it behind a VW mTDI swap and Doomsday Diesel clocked adapter plate

If you have an extra high pinion 8" front differential out of a 70 series, I wouldn't mind having a spare of those either, but the FJ60 manual steering box is high up on my want list. I've already got one high pinion 8" with a Detroit TrueTrac and brand new Nitro 4.10 gears, FJ80 front diff, I think the 70 series used the exact same differential, but different axles etc, they might have been 5 lug hubs?

The 70 has 6 lug hubs up to 97, I think....and I'm pretty sure you are right about the only difference between the 70 and 80 series axles is the length of the half shafts.

I'll bring some tequila when I see my friend...that usually helps him negotiate!

Thanks for the picture, now I've got to do some measuring of my own.

So, looks like the bellowing is about the same length as the one I've got on the tyranny already. I was hoping it would be shorter since I need to find almost 2 inches somewhere to get the 1hz to fit where the 1pz used to be. From reading your posts, you probably know if there is a bellhousing made for that.

Try a 1995 & older bellhousing and input shaft, that's the only advice I can give you.
You might find that are 1" shorter, but that's the absolute shortest you will possibly find.
I would suggest relocating the transmission and transfer case back 1 inch as well.
