Hi

Does anyone know of a source (other than Toyota dealers) for new or recon exchange injectors for the 1HD-FT engine? I could get the existing ones reconditioned locally
but I'm looking at a 2-3 week turnround which means the truck is laid up.

I thought GW Engine Parts in Oz had exchange injectors, but don't see it on the site. Shoot them a note and see. At least they might be able to point you. Be prepared for sticker shock.

I dont think they actually recon them like the old ones as the tips have a teflon coating that cant be repaired

Mine just had new tips fitted to cleaned up nozzle holder bodies and only took a few hours.
Putting them in yourself is not hard

Try a fuel injection specialist who stocks Nippondenso parts
I believe Isuzu trucks run similar Nippondenso fuel injection systems,so anyone who repairs them may access to what you need

Thought I'd post it here for anyone else who needs them.

This is for the nozzles that I got. It's only the nozzles that you need really and they are easy to replace. Got my set for 200 euros (currently he's on there at 150 euros on an open auction.

Replaced all six in less than 2 hours. Hardest thing is getting the injector assemblies out of the head - they are interferance fit and take a bit of getting out but turn them with a pair of pliers a little each way and they will eventually come out.

Only problem with this seller is you need to do a bank draft as they don't take Paypal.
