as long as the re-man'd one is an OEM, go that route. NEVER get an aftermarket...take it from me....

My truck's PO went through several of those Cardone pumps (three in six years). One of them sprung a leak and took out the smog pump with it. When the current one goes, I'm replacing with OEM (if not sooner). Call Cruiser Dan at American Toyota (1-800-432-6638). He can likely give you a much better price on the OEM than Specter.

Check the search, theres a place in Florida that will rebuild yours with a really quick turn-around.

I sent my PS pump to the place in florida - quick turnaround, only $125 to rebuild. It groaned on reinstall. One year later it was leaking again. 1.5 yr later my air pump failed because the rebuilt PS pump was puking on it. Bought an OEM pump from CDan (~$300). Works great. No groaning, no leaks. Wish I'd done this in the first place.
