Sweet! I am jealous, that is an awesome rig, to bad it is not a landy j/k. Seriously I need to start camping, I am real home sick and need some mountain time.:crybaby:

That looks like good times, I am glad the new rig is working out so well for you. Were you able to get any good views of the burn to see how bad it is up there?

No views of the burn areas. They don't let you anywhere near it. Too see those areas it would be best to check it out from the Santiago area. We were too high and to the south of the area that burned.

Nice little test run to get used to the rig and figure out any problems close to home. There's a Toyota in the writeup that went along.. so i guess i can post it..

The Adventure Duo: SMB Test Run

Great pics Dave but where are the pics of you guys cozied up in the penthouse? Also, where does Dixie hole up for the night?

Blueberry pancakes...yum and that tri tip looked mouth watering. :):)

Dixie has her own dog bed that sits inbetween the two front capt. chairs... however, about midway through the night she always finds a way to sneak into bed with us. No pics of us in the penthouse because we slept downstairs. It's quieter to me down there. Not to mention i dont wanna fall off the top after drinking too many beers before bed!! lol

That is a sweet rig, had to say it again. I have always liked the notion of having a Van That Can.

Nice Dave. Glad everything worked out on the run. Thought about you as I was packing up the truck and trailer to head off to summer camp Saturday!
