Hello everyone. I'm in the market for a 200. I currently have a 07 Tundra crewmax and I'd like something with third row seating (3 kiddos). I'm not sure I want to trade or sell my tundra outright. It only has 59k miles and is in good shape. My budget is about 25-26k. I understand that puts me in an 08 with 150k+ miles. My question: is $23k too much for an 08 with 184k miles? Is this a stupid move? I'm also looking at one for 25k with 145k miles, but hundreds of miles farther away. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Respectfully, I flew to Tennessee from NY so that I could get what I want. I say that because if the one with 145k miles has a better maintenance history and is in better condition, I would not let the hundreds of miles further be a factor unless time is not on your side. In saying that, both sound like reasonably good deals but the one with only 5k more miles for $2k less money is appealing. I see you're in NE Ohio, so if that one is close to you, I would def check the undercarriage as I once lived in Ohio.

I would sell your Tundra outright if you can unless the LC's are at a dealership and you can get trade in tax credit and a good price on your truck. More info on the two Land Cruisers will garner you better advice from many experienced LC owners here. Hope this helps a little.

I was in your position last year, paid much more for a 110k mile one, drove 50k miles this year and it drives exactly the same. Mileage isn't an issue IMHO. The biggest issue is rust, more than maintenance. Maybe I have been lucky but other than oil/brake/tire changes these things are built toyota tough. Rust is the killer cancer.
