I'm planing on doing an in cab winch control for my XD9K.

It has a 5 pin controler. Can anyone confirm that the wiring would be the same as woody's technical article on the 8274?

I'm going to use factory toyota switches for mine. I'm trying to figgure a way to use the power antenna switch from an fj62 to do the power in/out, and a defroster switch to arm/disarm. I'm already using a defroster switch for my dual battery system, so I think I can make one work for the winch.

They are not the same. Let me go find Seabass's links on which wire goes where...

That would be most helpful. I got no rights over yonder.. I ain't been back since yall made me cry, bout 5 yrs ago. :crybaby:

Besides, mud is so much more newb friendly! :grinpimp:

Check out Roadless Gear. They have a dash mounted winch controller for $29, should work for you:
